This course is classroom intensive – approx 4 hours of classroom instruction, followed by a short exam to insure that workers understand the important components of WHMIS and what is required of them and the employer under Alberta’s WHMIS regulations.

- Employer Responsibilities Under WHMIS
- Workplace Label Requirements & Limitations
- MSDS Requirements – How to Read an MSDS
- Proper Decanting and Storage of Controlled Products
- Hazardous Materials Classifications
- Supplier Labels – Requirements and How to Read Them
Each participant will receive a WHMIS handbook & pocket guide to keep. Successful participants will receive a certificate from the Albert Construction Safety Association ®.
Pro Safety will tailor this course to your workplace. We will endeavor to use MSDS sheets from your facility in our training program.
